How the procedure works
- Reporting the loss, absence, or theft at a German authority
- Obtaining permission to issue duplicates of the lost Briefs or permission to register in Poland without submitting them
- Issuing duplicate Briefs part I and/or II or obtaining permission to register in Poland
- If required by the German authority – technical inspection of the vehicle along with a specification
Result: You receive original German vehicle registration documents part I and/or II (Briefs) or permission to register in Poland without having to present them.
