Lost, stolen or missing Brief? We'll get you new documents

Have you lost your German vehicle registration documents? Don't worry - we will handle the entire procedure at the German authorities on your behalf, and you will receive a full set of original documents that allow you to register the car.

We help with both the small Brief (Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil I - the registration certificate) and the large Brief (Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil II - the vehicle title) - lost in any circumstances: misplaced, stolen or simply missing at purchase.

How the procedure works

1. Reporting the loss, absence or theft of the documents at a German authority.
2. Obtaining permission to issue duplicates of the lost Briefs, or permission to register in Poland without submitting them.
3. Issuing duplicate Briefs part I and/or II, or obtaining the registration permission for Poland.
4. If required by the German authority - a technical inspection of the vehicle along with its specification.

What to prepare for a quote

• the vehicle make and model,
• the VIN number (Fahrgestellnummer),
• the German registration number (if known),
• information on which documents you currently have (e.g. only Teil I, a copy of Teil II),
• a short description of how the documents were lost.
